What is the cost?
The cost will depend on a number of things. How many images/illustrations are there? Is there a logo? How many pages will need to be made? Timeline? These items and more go into the price. Once I get a full picture of what the project entails, I can give you a quote.
How long does it take to build a website?
Again, this will depend on how many assets (logo’s, images, illustrations, etc) you already have and how many will need to be provided. You must also consider that as I am building the website, I need to be sure it meets accessibility standards. How many pages will also determine the timeline. One thing that is often difficult for clients is “how soon you can get me the assets i need, in order to begin building the website?” That will greatly affect the timeline.
What do you need from your clients, in order to get started?
- Assets (images, logo’s, illustrations, content, etc)
- An agreement about the website design, what elements will be going into the website, how many pages, etc. You will need to sign off on the agreed upon terms.
- Half of the payment due.
